'Sons of Anarchy' Final Ride

"Sons of Anarchy" Location Manager Dan Cooley takes us behind the scenes of the hit television series' final ride. 20th Century Fox, Visit California and EagleRider hosted a group of international media on a press tour inspired by "Sons of Anarchy's" epic seventh season and series finale. While set in northern and central California, the show was actually filmed in and around Los Angeles. Dan shows us the North Hollywood soundstage where much of the clubhouse action and interior scenes were shot, as well as scenic roads near Acton and Castaic. We also visit the idyllic communities of Pasadena, Altadena and Montrose, which were used frequently by the production. The main street in Montrose was the location used for the one truly fictional place in the series, Charming, the motorcycle club's hometown.

Looking at San Francisco

Visit California and HBO invited a group of international journalists to "set-jet" around the San Francisco Bay Area on an itinerary inspired by "Looking," the new HBO series about a trio of gay friends looking for happiness and intimacy. Set and filmed in contemporary San Francisco, the series authentically portrays both the city and modern day issues through the lens of the three lead characters Patrick, Agustin and Dom. Journalist and San Francisco resident John Vlahides takes us behind the story of "Looking" with a tour of some of the real life locations that appear in the show, including the Castro District, Golden Gate Park and USS Hornet. Actor Frankie J. Alvarez who plays Agustin also makes a special appearance.
